Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Administer, configure, and maintain **Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), and virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)**. Leverage **AWS and Azure cloud environments** to optimize resource allocation and performance.
• Performance & Reliability: Continuously monitor system health, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and implement **capacity planning and optimization strategies** to ensure peak operational efficiency.
• Security & Compliance: Lead the implementation and enforcement of **security policies, firewalls, patch management, and vulnerability assessments**. Ensure alignment with **ISO 27001 and NCA compliance standards**, safeguarding our infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Oversee **backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)** and disaster recovery planning to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity during critical incidents.
• Automation & Efficiency: Develop and execute **PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts** to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational agility.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as the **primary escalation point** for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance to stakeholders and driving root-cause analysis for resolution.
• Project & Infrastructure Leadership: Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, from **design and deployment to implementation**, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are seeking a **highly qualified and experienced professional** with a proven track record in system administration and leadership. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A **Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field** (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: **8+ years of progressive experience in System Administration**, including **at least 2 years in a managerial or advisory role**, demonstrating expertise in **strategic decision-making and team leadership**.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Deep expertise in **Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy**.
  • Hands-on experience with **Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)** and **cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)**.
  • Advanced knowledge of **virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)** and **networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, routing, load balancing)**.
  • Proven experience with **backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)** and **disaster recovery methodologies**.
  • Proficiency in **PowerShell or Bash scripting** for automation and efficiency.
