Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a blend of hands-on development and strategic leadership, ensuring you:

• Lead the end-to-end development of features, spanning backend (Laravel), frontend (React), and testing frameworks, while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.
• Own the delivery of the Laravel + React team, ensuring timely completion of projects that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and technical requirements.
• Act as the first line of defense in code review, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively to prevent delays or defects in later stages.
• Coordinate and optimize task assignment within the team, transitioning from individual self-assignment to a structured, collaborative workflow that maximizes productivity.
• Serve as the single point of contact for planning, status updates, and stakeholder communication, both internally and externally, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional growth and setting a high benchmark for technical excellence through hands-on guidance and constructive feedback.
• Balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, ensuring continuous improvement in both technical execution and team dynamics.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

• A robust 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with a proven mastery of both Laravel and React, including RESTful API design, database optimization, and modern frontend architectures.
• Demonstrable experience in leading, reviewing, or mentoring development teams, with a track record of improving team efficiency, code quality, and project outcomes.
• The ability to take features from concept to completion, ensuring seamless integration of backend, frontend, and testing components while adhering to best practices.
• Experience in code review processes and the ability to establish or enforce coding standards that enhance maintainability and scalability.
• Comfort in owning task planning and assignment, while acting as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity and accountability.
• Exceptional communication skills, both technical and cross-functional, enabling effective collaboration with developers, designers, and business leaders.
• Fluency in Native Arabic is a mandatory requirement, reflecting our commitment to cultural alignment and seamless internal communication.

Technical Skills

Your expertise should include:

• Backend: PHP, Laravel, RESTful API development, MySQL/PostgreSQL database management.
• Frontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, with a focus on building responsive and scalable user interfaces.
• Testing: Proficiency in PHPUnit, Jest, or equivalent frameworks to ensure robust and reliable codebases.
• Leadership: Experience in code review, task delegation, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Tools: Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
