For our Riyadh office, we are seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to drive excellence in power, telecommunications, and street lighting systems—critical components of modern urban and industrial infrastructure.

Your Impact

As a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer at ARX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing the integration of dry utility systems into large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination between technical disciplines, compliance with local regulations, and the delivery of high-performance solutions that enhance the functionality and sustainability of urban environments. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Design and Oversight: Lead the design and planning of dry utility systems, including power distribution, telecommunications, and street lighting, for diverse infrastructure projects. Ensure designs align with global best practices and local KSA standards.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and review engineering calculations, network designs, cable sizing, and other critical analyses to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of dry utility systems. Stay ahead of industry advancements and incorporate innovative solutions into project deliverables.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between project managers, engineers, and other technical teams to integrate dry utilities seamlessly into broader project frameworks. Manage utility corridors, crossings, connections, and interfaces with precision and foresight.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all designs adhere to KSA codes, standards, and utility authority requirements. Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation that meet the highest industry and client expectations.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Review and refine technical deliverables from designers and BIM/CAD teams to maintain project integrity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to align project requirements with technical feasibility and regulatory frameworks. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on dry utilities. At least 3 years of hands-on experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of dry utility systems, including power distribution, telecommunications, and street lighting. Familiarity with KSA-specific codes, standards, and utility authority requirements.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in engineering design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant electrical design tools. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is highly regarded and will be valued in our multicultural environment.
