Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assessments & Compliance: Conduct thorough technical evaluations of power generation plants, substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy installations to ensure compliance with national and international regulations, including IEC, IEEE, and local standards.

Assist in the development of technical specifications and feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, certificates, and compliance documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with Bureau Veritas’ rigorous standards. Present findings to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
  • Technical Training & Awareness: Facilitate training sessions for clients and personnel on emerging technologies, safety protocols, and regulatory updates. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the organization.
  • Innovation & Sustainability: Stay abreast of advancements in smart grids, renewable energy integration, and digitalization to advise clients on sustainable and future-proof energy solutions. Contribute to Bureau Veritas’ commitment to driving the energy transition.

This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the communities and industries that depend on clean, efficient, and secure energy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., P.E., CEng, or equivalent) are a significant advantage.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy sectors, with a strong understanding of grid codes, protection systems, and energy efficiency standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local (Saudi Arabia) and international regulations, including those from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), IEC, IEEE, and other relevant bodies.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical data, diagnose issues, and develop data-driven solutions. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to risk assessment.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
