We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across our global manufacturing ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

As a Global Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Quality Oversight: Lead systematic and regular audits of Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers to evaluate compliance and drive continuous improvement. Ensure alignment with internal policies, global standards, and regulatory requirements for safety, quality, and distribution.
• Process Standardization: Synchronize and standardize global manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all production sites.
• Compliance and Testing: Develop and implement rigorous protocols for inspecting and testing raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Ensure adherence to Lenovo’s stringent quality benchmarks and external regulatory standards.
• Mass Production Leadership: Take ownership of all quality-related issues during mass production for ODM products. Lead cross-functional teams to diagnose root causes, implement corrective actions, and achieve swift, effective resolutions.
• Global Production Support: Provide critical support during overseas new production transfers and mass production launches. Establish, review, and optimize manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive global EMS continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the internal end-to-end owner for resolving complex issues arising from carrier audits, Out-of-Box (OOB) inspections, and customer claims. Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Innovation and Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing EMS manufacturing quality control capabilities. Leverage data-driven insights and advanced methodologies to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
• Conflict Resolution: Serve as a key coordinator to mediate and resolve disputes among overseas manufacturing sites, EMS partners, and ODMs. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in any engineering discipline, with a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality management.
• Industry Expertise: At least five years of specialized experience in the smartphone industry, with in-depth knowledge of supply chain activities such as:
• Surface Mount Technology (SMT) – Preferred
• Assembly Processes
• Industrial Engineering (IE)
• Testing Protocols
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Quality Control
• Methodologies: Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a significant advantage), along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with statistical tools and AI-driven digital solutions is highly preferred.
• Decision-Making: Exceptional ability to evaluate risks, make data-informed decisions, and adapt swiftly in dynamic environments.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, foster teamwork, and drive cross-functional alignment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for mediating complex discussions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
