Join our dynamic team in Riyadh as the **Senior Manager, Digital Opinion Leaders**, where you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing how medical and scientific information is disseminated to healthcare professionals and the public. In this strategic position within Medical Affairs, you will lead the development and execution of a cutting-edge digital engagement strategy, leveraging the influence of credible Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs) to bridge the gap between complex medical science and accessible, evidence-based education. Your work will directly impact the lives of individuals living with serious chronic diseases, fostering awareness, education, and informed decision-making across both Arabic- and English-speaking audiences.
As a key member of our international operations team, you will drive innovation at the intersection of medical affairs, digital communication, and stakeholder engagement. Your expertise will ensure that accurate, compliant, and impactful health information is shared through digital channels, empowering healthcare providers and the public with the knowledge they need to make informed choices.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in healthcare, medical communications, or a related discipline. Your qualifications should include:
- A degree in **Pharmacy, Medicine, or another relevant health science discipline**, with a preference for advanced degrees such as a **PharmD, MD/MBBS, MSc, PhD, or MPH** in life sciences or healthcare.
- **3–5 years of relevant experience** in **Medical Affairs, pharmaceutical communications, medical education, digital health, or HCP engagement**, with a focus on engaging physicians, healthcare providers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), or Digital Opinion Leaders.
- Proven experience in **medical or scientific communication**, including disease awareness, consumer education, or medical education initiatives.
- Familiarity with **digital platforms and their role in healthcare communication**, including social media, webinars, podcasts, and educational content development.
- **Fluency in both Arabic and English**, with the ability to review, adapt, and communicate medical and scientific content accurately and effectively in both languages.
- Exceptional **scientific communication skills**, enabling you to translate complex medical concepts into clear, balanced, and compliant messages for diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset with **strong cross-functional skills**, allowing you to work seamlessly with teams across **Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Marketing**.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and comfort working on **high-visibility, compliance-sensitive initiatives** that require meticulous attention to detail.
While not mandatory, the following will be highly advantageous:
- Prior experience in **pharmaceutical industry roles**, particularly in **scientific communication, external expert engagement, or medical education**.
- Experience working with **agencies, content partners, or digital production teams** to develop and execute medical communication campaigns.
What You’ll Achieve
In this dynamic role, you will:
- **Identify, map, and prioritize** Digital Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals with **strong scientific credibility and influential digital presences**, fostering meaningful partnerships that drive evidence-based education.
- **Develop and execute digital medical communication plans** that enhance the reach and impact of medical education across digital channels, ensuring **scientific accuracy, compliance, and non-promotional integrity**.
- **Collaborate with Digital Opinion Leaders** to create **engaging, accessible, and responsible content**—including videos, webinars, podcasts, articles, and disease awareness materials—that resonates with both healthcare professionals and the public.
- **Capture and analyze insights** from Digital Opinion Leaders, Key Opinion Leaders, and digital healthcare conversations to inform **Medical Affairs strategy**, identify unmet educational needs, and refine scientific communication initiatives.
- **Support the development and delivery** of **medical education initiatives** through scientific meetings, webinars, digital forums, and educational platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- **Build and maintain strategic relationships** with **external partners, professional associations, agencies, and internal stakeholders**, fostering a collaborative ecosystem that drives impactful outcomes.
- **Establish scalable processes** for **Digital Opinion Leader identification, engagement, content review, approvals, and governance**, laying the foundation for a **future-proof operating model** within Medical Affairs.
