Key Responsibilities

In this strategic position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Core Banking Development: Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking modules, including accounts, loans, payments, and trade finance, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
• Treasury and Risk Management: Design and implement advanced solutions for Oracle Treasury, including foreign exchange (FX), money markets (MM), derivatives, repos, and securities, while ensuring real-time limit checks and exposure monitoring across all products.
• Collateral and Limit Management: Develop and enhance Oracle Limits and Collateral Management (LCM) systems to optimize collateral utilization and risk exposure, adhering to Basel III and IFRS compliance frameworks.
• Integration and Middleware Expertise: Architect and manage integrations using Oracle SOA Suite, Middleware, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to ensure seamless data flow between systems, including SWIFT message processing (MT103, MT202, MT300, etc.).
• UI/UX Development: Utilize Oracle ADF and Oracle JET to create intuitive and responsive banking interfaces, enhancing the digital banking experience for end-users.
• Automation and DevOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Maven to streamline development workflows, ensuring rapid, reliable, and scalable deployments.
• Regulatory and Compliance Adherence: Ensure all banking applications comply with global financial regulations, including Basel III, IFRS, and other industry standards, while maintaining secure coding practices and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead testing efforts, including UAT support, to validate system functionality, performance, and security, ensuring high standards of reliability and user satisfaction.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Back Office Operations: Support treasury back-office operations, including deal capture, settlement, and confirmation processes, to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.

Technical Proficiencies

To excel in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in the following technologies and methodologies:

• Oracle Banking Suite: Expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking, Oracle Treasury, Limits and Collateral Management (LCM), and Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX).
• Database and PL/SQL: Proficiency in Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c) with advanced PL/SQL development and optimization skills.
• Java and J2EE: Deep knowledge of Java and J2EE frameworks for building scalable and high-performance banking applications.
• WebLogic and Integration: Experience with WebLogic Server administration and integration with REST, SOAP web services, XML/XSD/XSLT, and SWIFT protocols.
• Cloud and DevOps: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven for automated deployment pipelines.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks to facilitate collaborative, iterative development processes.
• Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of secure coding practices, RBAC, and regulatory compliance requirements in financial services.
