As a Junior Accountant at Rentokil Boecker®, you will be an integral part of our finance team, assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial records that drive informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will span across core accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory management, ensuring that our financial systems reflect the true operational status of the business. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and record all journal entries—including invoices, payments, vouchers, and purchasing transactions—adhering strictly to local accounting standards and regional policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of payments by verifying supporting documentation and processing disbursements in accordance with established Regional Policies and Procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier accounts, sub-ledgers, accruals, and fixed assets schedules to maintain financial consistency and detect discrepancies promptly.
• Review the accuracy and compliance of coupons and expenses paid, ensuring all transactions align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the entire payments preparation process, from documentation to execution, ensuring a smooth and error-free workflow.
• Maintain and update relevant financial data within Rentokil Boecker®’s systems, ensuring data integrity across all accounting platforms, forms, and reports.
• Generate daily bank deposit reports to support liquidity management and cash flow tracking.
• Process purchase invoices with precision and timeliness, ensuring vendor payments are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Execute physical inventory counts for Operations, Food Safety, and Marketing departments, preparing detailed discrepancy reports to support inventory management.
• Monitor stock levels and inventory management processes to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency and cost control.
• Oversee both physical and electronic archiving systems, maintaining organized and easily accessible financial records for audit and operational purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:

• A Saudi national with a passion for contributing to the financial success of a leading organization.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in financial principles.
• Membership in the Society of Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), reflecting your commitment to professional standards and continuous learning.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, providing you with hands-on exposure to financial processes and best practices.
• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multicultural team. Arabic fluency is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software, enabling you to navigate financial systems with ease.
