Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain PACS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee system integration with RIS (Radiology Information Systems), HIS (Hospital Information Systems), and other healthcare IT platforms.
• Monitor system health, diagnose technical issues, and resolve complex PACS-related problems with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to develop and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Conduct regular system audits, performance evaluations, and capacity planning to support future growth.
• Train end-users, including radiologists and technicians, on PACS functionalities and best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in medical imaging and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for knowledge sharing and continuity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a **PACS Administrator** or **Senior PACS Specialist**, with a minimum of **3+ years** in healthcare IT or medical imaging systems.
• In-depth knowledge of **PACS platforms** (e.g., Agfa, Carestream, Siemens, GE Healthcare) and familiarity with **DICOM, HL7, and RIS/HIS integrations**.
• Strong background in **networking, storage solutions, and virtualization technologies** relevant to medical imaging environments.
• Certifications in **healthcare IT, PACS administration, or IT security** (e.g., RHIT, CAHIMS, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Proficient in **Windows Server, Linux, and database management systems** (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
