Key Responsibilities

• Technical Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and virtualized environments—both on-premises and in cloud-based platforms. Leverage expertise in Windows Server, Linux distributions, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to optimize performance and reliability.
• Operational Excellence: Implement and enforce security policies, patch management, and access controls to safeguard critical systems. Monitor system health, execute regular backups, and ensure disaster recovery plans are robust and tested. Manage core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services to maintain operational continuity.
• Strategic Program Management: Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, network expansions, system upgrades, and new service deployments. Define clear project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Risk and Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and process optimization using scripting tools like PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform. Provide data-driven insights through regular performance reports and risk assessments to inform decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams to enforce best practices and ensure business continuity. Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership, translating complex infrastructure challenges into actionable strategies.
• Team Development: Mentor junior system administrators and IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Establish and document industry-leading best practices, training materials, and operational workflows to elevate team capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8+ years in system administration and infrastructure management.
• 4+ years of proven program management experience, with a track record of delivering infrastructure projects that drive measurable outcomes.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server, Linux environments, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms, including hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in network design, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and storage solutions, with a strong grasp of Active Directory, Group Policies, authentication frameworks, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting tools, such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform, to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred, demonstrating your ability to lead complex initiatives with precision.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
