In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety policies, procedures, and training programs that align with global best practices and local regulatory requirements. Your strategic vision will ensure that every employee, contractor, and visitor is equipped with the knowledge and tools to operate in a secure and compliant manner. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and human resources, to integrate safety into every aspect of our workflows, from project planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development and Compliance: Design, implement, and maintain a robust safety management system that adheres to international standards such as ISO 45001, OSHA guidelines, and Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and industry benchmarks.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Lead comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and develop actionable strategies to minimize risks. Utilize data-driven insights to proactively address safety concerns before they escalate into critical issues.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs tailored to different roles and departments. Foster a culture of safety awareness by organizing workshops, toolbox talks, and regular safety meetings to reinforce best practices and encourage employee participation.
• Incident Management: Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Ensure timely reporting and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior management, operations teams, and external safety consultants to align safety initiatives with business objectives. Represent the company in safety-related forums, regulatory meetings, and industry collaborations to enhance our safety credentials.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and emerging safety technologies to keep our practices at the forefront of innovation. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing safety performance metrics and implementing evidence-based enhancements.

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a deep commitment to safety excellence. A strong background in occupational health and safety (OHS), along with certifications such as OSHCP, CIH, or NEBOSH, is highly advantageous. Your ability to communicate complex safety concepts clearly, inspire teams, and drive cultural change will be instrumental in your success.
