As the **General Accountant**, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and optimizing financial operations to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in alignment with Saudi Accounting Standards (SAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, including VAT compliance, and maintain accurate records for audits.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. Manage accounts receivable to optimize cash flow and minimize collection risks, leveraging industry-specific knowledge of the furniture supply chain.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, variance analysis, and financial forecasts tailored to the furniture sector’s operational needs. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic financial planning and cost-control initiatives.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: Work closely with inventory and procurement teams to track asset valuations, depreciation schedules, and cost allocations unique to the furniture industry. Ensure accurate recording of inventory movements and asset utilization.
• Financial Analysis & Process Improvement: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, or cost-saving opportunities within the organization. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows and operational transparency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior management, providing clear and actionable financial insights to drive informed business decisions. Engage with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and logistics, to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Risk Management & Internal Controls: Design and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks, fraud, and errors. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard the company’s assets.

This role is ideal for a **General Accountant** with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within the manufacturing, retail, or supply chain sectors. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Tally) and familiarity with Saudi business practices are essential. A strong command of English and Arabic is a significant advantage, given the multicultural business environment in Riyadh.
