Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Strategic Facilities Planning: Develop and implement long-term facility management strategies that align with Egis’ business objectives, ensuring optimal use of resources while minimizing operational costs.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Sustainability and Efficiency: Lead initiatives to enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices within managed facilities, contributing to Egis’ commitment to environmental responsibility.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to address facility-related challenges, ensuring seamless coordination and timely resolution of issues.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on facility design, technology integration, and innovative solutions to improve operational workflows and user experience.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage facility budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance to maximize ROI on facility investments.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in facility management, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Proven expertise in facility operations, maintenance, and strategic planning, with a track record of improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation technologies, along with the ability to integrate smart solutions for enhanced performance.
• Experience in budget management, procurement, and vendor negotiations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with international facility management standards, including ISO 55000, LEED, or similar certifications, is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in facility management software (e.g., Maximo, FM:Systems, or similar) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or PE (Professional Engineer) are a plus.
