Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects with precision, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while mitigating risks and addressing issues proactively.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients, cybersecurity teams, IT functions, vendors, and consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of objectives across all stakeholders.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients by managing expectations, providing clear updates, and ensuring project outcomes meet or exceed their strategic goals.
• Vendor and Performance Oversight: Monitor vendor deliverables, contractual commitments, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, escalating unresolved issues to governance channels while ensuring accountability and compliance.
• Risk and Decision Management: Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and vendor performance issues to executive committees, providing data-driven recommendations to inform critical decisions.
• Comprehensive Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records, including project plans, risk registers, issue trackers, decision logs, and change requests, while preparing executive dashboards and committee reports that highlight project status, KPIs, KRIs, and vendor performance.
• Regulatory and Executive Reporting: Support cybersecurity reporting requirements for regulators, boards, and senior management, ensuring transparency and compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
• Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Oversee projects spanning critical cybersecurity domains such as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Operations Center (SOC), vulnerability management, security assessments, and network security.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to established governance, security, quality, and regulatory standards, including frameworks such as NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, or similar.
• Presentation and Communication: Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to executive management and steering committees, translating technical complexities into actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Audit and Accountability: Record committee decisions and follow up on action items until closure, maintaining a clear and auditable trail of project activities and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a **highly skilled and experienced professional** with a proven track record in cybersecurity project management. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and expertise:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of **7 years of total professional experience**, with at least **3 years of direct experience managing cybersecurity or IT security projects**. Experience in coordinating technical security teams and managing cybersecurity vendors or consultants is essential.
• Client-Facing Expertise: Strong background in client-facing roles or Client Success, with a demonstrated ability to manage expectations, build relationships, and deliver exceptional service.
• Project Management Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and deliverables, with familiarity across **Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies**.
• Reporting and Presentation Skills: Experience preparing and presenting reports to executive management and steering committees, ensuring clarity and impact in communication.
• Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as **NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, or similar** is highly preferred.
• Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of key cybersecurity domains, including GRC, IAM, SOC, vulnerability management, security assessments, and network security.
• Certifications: While not mandatory, certifications such as **PMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or Security+** will be viewed favorably and demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present professionally in **Arabic and English**. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities are critical.
