Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership of Multidisciplinary Teams: Direct and inspire teams across architecture, structural engineering, MEP systems, and specialist disciplines to deliver cohesive, high-quality design solutions for large-scale projects, including high-rise developments, mixed-use facilities, hospitality venues, and residential complexes.
• Strategic Project Oversight: Manage the entire design delivery process, ensuring adherence to program timelines, quality benchmarks, and key project milestones while maintaining alignment with client expectations and regulatory frameworks.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the senior interface between SSH Design, clients, consultants, and project stakeholders, fostering transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving to achieve project success.
• Technical Excellence and Problem-Solving: Lead comprehensive design reviews and resolve intricate technical and coordination challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring seamless integration of all design elements.
• Third-Party Collaboration: Oversee and integrate the work of external consultants, ensuring their contributions align with project goals and enhance overall design quality.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, local authority regulations, and international codes of practice, maintaining the highest standards of design integrity and compliance.
• BIM and Digital Innovation: Drive BIM coordination and constructability assessments, leveraging digital tools to optimize design quality, efficiency, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level Design Managers, fostering a culture of professional development and excellence within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in multidisciplinary design management, equipped with the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Professional registration with a reputable body is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in design management, with a strong focus on large-scale, complex projects such as high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, and residential complexes. Prior experience in consultancy environments is highly preferred.
• Industry Expertise: Extensive background in managing multidisciplinary design processes, with a deep understanding of BIM-led delivery methodologies and constructability principles.
• Client-Facing Acumen: Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and external partners, translating their vision into technically sound and innovative design solutions.
• Regional Preference: Experience working on projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is highly advantageous, given the unique regulatory and cultural context of the region.
