Lead Investigator

The Lead Investigator is an experienced professional responsible for conducting complex investigations and developing strategies to address challenges within ZATCA. This role involves leading the development of the investigation strategy, managing internal investigation operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investigation strategy for ZATCA.
• Manage internal investigation operations, including case collection, assessment, subpoena preparation, and case resolution.
• Conduct research and comparative studies to aid in the development of investigation strategies and tools.
• Provide employee awareness training on ZATCA's code of conduct.
• Maintain and update database systems storing investigation cases.
• Conduct preliminary assessments of breaches/misconduct cases, identify formal investigation requirements, and prepare subpoenas.
• Develop case summarizing reports, present findings to the Governor and Deputy Governor, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Follow up on recommendations, escalate complex problems, and perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient or advanced level in Collaboration and Communication, Contracts and Agreements Management, Customer Focus, Enablement of Change and Innovation, Legal Advisory, Legal Writing and Policy Drafting, Legislations and Regulations, Negotiation and Influence, Professionalism, Research and Analysis, and Results Oriented.
