Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager - Stadium, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex stadium projects from inception to completion. Your duties will include:

• Project Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Foster strong relationships to ensure alignment and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Budget and Cost Control: Oversee financial aspects of the project, including budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure the project remains within budget while delivering high-quality results.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain excellence.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, architects, contractors, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to local and international regulations, including health and safety, environmental, and building codes. Obtain necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner.
• Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones. Prepare detailed reports and presentations as required.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role overseeing stadium or large-scale sports infrastructure projects. Experience in the Middle East or similar markets is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
