Key Responsibilities

As an SAP Basis Administrator, your core responsibilities will include:

• System Administration and Monitoring: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor system health proactively and address technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• System Upgrades and Patch Management: Lead the execution of SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain compliance with the latest industry standards and security protocols. Manage the transport management process to ensure seamless deployment of changes across Development, Quality, and Production environments.
• User and Authorization Management: Administer user accounts, roles, and authorizations to enforce security policies and ensure appropriate access levels across the SAP landscape. Collaborate with stakeholders to align user permissions with business requirements.
• Disaster Recovery and Backup Management: Develop, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical SAP data. Design and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disruptions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and project managers to support the delivery of SAP-related initiatives. Provide technical guidance and expertise to facilitate smooth project execution and operational excellence.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Generate and analyze system performance reports to identify trends, optimize resources, and support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, with a proven track record in managing SAP systems effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP system landscape management, including familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and SAP S/4HANA. Experience with Linux or Windows operating systems is essential, and expertise in database administration using Oracle, HANA, or SQL Server is highly desirable.
• Project Support: Demonstrated experience supporting SAP environments across Development, Quality, and Production phases, ensuring consistency and reliability throughout the system lifecycle.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with SAP transport management, system upgrades, patching, user role administration, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Certifications: SAP Basis certification is a valuable asset and will be considered a strong advantage in your application.
• Language and Compliance: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required. You must also be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
