Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site position requires an individual who is proficient in operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The Radiology Technician will play a critical role in preparing patients for examinations, positioning both patients and equipment, and ensuring that all images meet the required diagnostic quality. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to facilitate accurate and timely diagnostic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Preparation: Ensure patients are properly prepared for radiologic procedures, providing clear instructions and maintaining their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Equipment Operation and Image Quality: Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, adhering to established protocols and ensuring optimal image clarity for accurate interpretation.
• Radiation Safety and Monitoring: Implement and monitor radiation safety practices to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff, in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all imaging procedures, including patient information, technical parameters, and outcomes, in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure seamless coordination and support the delivery of timely and reliable diagnostic information.
• Equipment Maintenance and Infection Control: Assist in the care and maintenance of imaging equipment, ensuring it remains in optimal working condition. Adhere to strict infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training programs and quality improvement initiatives to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and Certification: A diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution. Certification or eligibility for certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent credential is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and the ability to perform standard diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately.
• Radiation Safety: In-depth understanding of radiation safety principles and practices to ensure the protection of patients and staff.
• Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical workflows, and patient care protocols to support effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center, preferably in a similar role, is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Work Requirements: Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh and to participate in shift-based schedules as required by the organization. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with radiology information systems and PACS are advantageous.
