Operations Manager - Warehouse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager – Warehouse to lead and optimize our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of all logistics functions. Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager – Warehouse will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Operational Leadership: Plan, manage, and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Team Development & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and team leaders to cultivate a high-performing workforce capable of meeting productivity, quality, and safety targets consistently.
• Inventory Accuracy & Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory management practices, including cycle counts, audits, and system controls, to ensure 100% accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track, analyze, and optimize warehouse KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency to drive continuous operational enhancements.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies to create a secure and compliant work environment, mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Resource & Budget Management: Oversee labor planning, shift scheduling, and warehouse budgets to maximize resource utilization while controlling operational expenses and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
• Process Optimization: Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce operating costs without compromising service quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with logistics, procurement, customer service, and IT teams to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution.
• Equipment & System Oversight: Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support operational efficiency and technological integration.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control methodologies, and logistics processes, with a strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, solve complex operational challenges, and leverage analytical insights to drive performance improvements.
• Financial Acumen: Proven experience in managing KPIs, labor planning, and operational budgets to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
