Senior Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our Information Technology department in a critical role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure management, server and network administration, and cybersecurity. They will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure, aligning with company policies and industry best practices.

• Server & Systems Administration:
• Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers (UCS/Rack) running Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Administer virtualization environments using Hyper-V and/or VMware
• Oversee cloud hosting platforms and related services
• Manage external hosting services including GoDaddy or similar providers
• Network Administration:
• Design, manage, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure including Core Switches and inter-branch connectivity
• Configure and manage secure site-to-site connections between branches via VPN or other technologies
• Configure, manage, and maintain firewall solutions including Sophos, FortiGate, or equivalent platforms
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime
• Cybersecurity:
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures in line with international standards and best practices
• Deploy and manage both open-source and commercial cybersecurity tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Proactively monitor security threats and respond to cybersecurity incidents
• Prepare and present periodic cybersecurity status reports to management
• Monitoring & Infrastructure:
• Install and manage control panel and monitoring solutions for servers and networks (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, or equivalent)
• Oversee data center and server room infrastructure including physical hardware, cabling, and environmental systems
• Proactively assess and address performance bottlenecks and infrastructure vulnerabilities
• Policies & Compliance:
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal IT governance and cybersecurity policies
• Ensure the IT environment adheres to approved standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Experience & Technical Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
• Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, UCS/Rack Servers, Hyper-V, VMware, LAN/WAN, Core Switch, VPN, SD-WAN, Sophos, FortiGate, SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, open-source security tools, Zabbix, PRTG, cloud hosting, cPanel, GoDaddy and similar platforms, and server room management and operations
