We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures. You will architect and implement secure, fault-tolerant solutions with robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity strategies. Additionally, you will lead and execute critical cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, and optimization.

Your key responsibilities will include managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud environments to ensure performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and security. You will implement security controls, governance, and best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and data. Hands-on administration of AWS services, including EC2, Auto Scaling, VPC, NAT Gateway, ELB/ALB, ECR, ECS, S3, EFS, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and Billing/Cost Management, will be a significant part of your role.

You will also configure and manage FortiGate Firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, and traffic inspection in cloud and hybrid environments. Designing, implementing, and managing backup and restore solutions, ensuring data protection, retention, and compliance requirements are met, will be crucial. Experience with enterprise backup solutions (cloud-native or third-party) is highly desired.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in system operation and customer support, with at least 3 years of experience related to cloud. Proven experience with FortiGate Firewall administration in cloud or hybrid deployments is required. A solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices is essential. AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification (or equivalent) is required. Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform is highly preferred.
