Senior Enterprise Data Architect (Data & Security Architecture)
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Enterprise Data Architect to drive our data strategy and ensure robust, secure, and compliant data architecture across our enterprise. This role is pivotal in defining and maintaining our Enterprise Data Architecture, data models, and standards.
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Data Architecture and data models.
- Define enterprise data standards, governance, metadata, MDM, and data lifecycle practices.
- Design enterprise integration architecture, APIs, and data exchange standards.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Embed Security-by-Design principles into data architecture.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations (DGA, NORA, SDAIA, NDMO, NCA, ECC, and PDPL).
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards and collaborate with business, cybersecurity, and technology teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred), with at least 8 years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or Enterprise Architecture. Proven expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, Data Governance, API & Integration Architecture, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, SQL, and Analytics Platforms is essential. A strong background in Security-by-Design and Enterprise Security Architecture, coupled with practical experience in Saudi government architecture and cybersecurity frameworks, is also required.
TOGAF or DAMA CDMP certification is mandatory (or equivalent); cloud and security certifications are highly desirable. Experience with tools such as Sparx EA, LeanIX, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead architecture initiatives and mentor technical teams.
