Role Summary

As a Manager to Senior Manager in OCI Infrastructure Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) cloud foundations for sovereign, dedicated, and isolated environments. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while optimizing performance and security. This role demands a strategic approach to architecting OCI tenancies, landing zones, and network topologies that support scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade cloud deployments. You will lead the implementation of hybrid connectivity solutions, disaster recovery strategies, and robust security frameworks to safeguard critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Design: Architect and implement OCI tenancy structures, landing zones, and network topologies tailored to enterprise requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Hybrid Connectivity & Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage hybrid connectivity solutions, including FastConnect and VPN, alongside comprehensive disaster recovery strategies to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001, while maintaining a robust security posture across all cloud environments. Implement advanced OCI security services, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), OCI Vault for secret management, and OCI Logging Analytics.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform for automating infrastructure deployments, alongside scripting languages like Python and Bash, to enhance efficiency and consistency in cloud management.
• Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across all levels of the organization.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• OCI Expertise: Deep knowledge of OCI networking components, including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), gateways, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Zones, and Cloud Guard.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, along with experience in Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Security & Compliance: Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001, coupled with hands-on experience in deploying advanced OCI security services.
• Database Technologies: Strong understanding of Oracle Database technologies, including experience with OCI database services such as Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
• Certifications: OCI Architect Professional and Terraform Associate certifications are highly preferred.

Professional Experience

We seek candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, including at least 3 years of specialized experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in deploying sovereign cloud solutions, ERP transformation projects, and dedicated or isolated OCI platforms. Experience with Alloy deployments for regulated industries is a valuable asset, ensuring alignment with industry-specific compliance and governance standards.
