Position Overview

The Vice President – Treasury Corporate Sales will lead the strategic marketing and execution of all Treasury products tailored for corporate clients. This pivotal role is responsible for driving profitable sales growth within the Corporate Treasury segment while identifying opportunities to enhance the Group’s overall revenue streams. The incumbent will oversee the Corporate Sales Unit, ensuring alignment with QNB’s strategic objectives and the achievement of predefined targets. By fostering strong internal and external relationships, the Vice President will play a key role in expanding QNB’s market presence and reinforcing its leadership in the corporate banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Shareholder & Financial

  • Implement QNB Group’s strategies to strengthen the Bank’s position in the corporate Treasury market, ensuring sustainable business growth and expansion.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for the Corporate Sales Unit, driving revenue generation and profitability.
  • Introduce and evaluate best practices within the department to optimize operational efficiency and performance.
  • Exercise delegated authority responsibly and empower the team by delegating appropriate tasks while monitoring execution.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of cost consciousness and operational efficiency to minimize expenses, eliminate waste, and maximize benefits for the Bank.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the financial and non-financial drivers that influence the Bank’s performance.

Customer (Internal & External)

  • Provide expert guidance to customers on QNB’s Treasury products, addressing inquiries and resolving requests promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), improving turnaround times and service delivery.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across departments to align efforts toward achieving the Group’s strategic goals.
  • Deliver accurate and timely information to external and internal auditors, compliance teams, financial control, and risk functions as required.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with high-value corporate clients to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory)

  • Ensure strict compliance with departmental policies and procedures for sales activities, including client interactions, product presentations, and contact database management.
  • Develop new corporate relationships within delegated authority, assigning responsibilities to the Corporate team and serving as the primary point of contact for resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury to identify potential clients and cross-sell Treasury services, while providing training to Corporate Banking staff on Treasury products and services offered by the Group.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of corporate Treasury customers, ensuring timely updates following interactions with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Leverage professional networks to identify business opportunities and strengthen QNB’s market position in the corporate Treasury segment.
