Safety Supervisor - HSE

The Safety Supervisor is a critical role responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel at our solar project site. This position is accountable for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies to achieve our goal of zero accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

• HSE Compliance & Implementation
• Implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, client standards, and company HSE policies.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
• Risk Assessment & Control
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessments for site activities.
• Identify hazards related to solar installation, electrical works, working at height, lifting operations, and excavation.
• Recommend and implement control measures.
• Site Monitoring & Supervision
• Monitor various site activities such as solar panel installation, mounting structure erection, electrical works, inverter installation, and cable laying.
• Stop unsafe work practices immediately.
• Training & Awareness
• Conduct site safety inductions for workers, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Organize toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote a strong safety culture.
• Incident Management
• Report, investigate, and document accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident investigation reports and corrective action plans.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, checklists, and inspection logs.
• Prepare regular safety reports.
• Assist in audits and inspections.
• Emergency Preparedness
• Ensure emergency response plans are in place and up-to-date.
• Conduct mock drills to prepare for various emergency scenarios.
• Ensure the availability and maintenance of fire-fighting and first-aid equipment.
