Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director – Commercial will be responsible for a range of strategic and operational duties, including:

• Strategic Commercial Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to enhance market positioning, maximize revenue streams, and ensure sustainable growth for Red Sea Global’s projects.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, to drive expansion and profitability.
• Revenue Optimization: Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and revenue management to achieve financial targets and improve profitability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, investors, developers, and industry partners, to foster collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives and alignment with overall business goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of commercial initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within a corporate, real estate, or development environment.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy, business development, revenue optimization, and contract negotiation.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive change, and achieve business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
