Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup: Perform professional installation of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and ventilation systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of kitchen equipment.
• Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, diagnose technical issues, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and operational disruptions for our clients.
• Calibration and Testing: Calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with performance and safety regulations, including gas, electrical, and plumbing systems where applicable.
• Client Communication: Liaise directly with clients to understand their equipment needs, provide technical advice, and deliver clear explanations of service procedures and recommendations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and client communications, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to local health and safety regulations, as well as AlGhalia Trading Company’s internal policies, to guarantee a secure working environment for both technicians and end-users.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the commercial kitchen sector.
• Technical proficiency in repairing and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment, including gas and electric appliances, refrigeration systems, and ventilation units.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and experience working in compliance with local regulations.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as travel to client sites across Riyadh is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital tools and software for work order management and reporting is a plus.
