About the Role

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea, located within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, invites a seasoned Credit Manager to join our dynamic team in Umluj. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial integrity of our world-class resort, which spans 200 kilometers of pristine coastline, an archipelago of over 90 unspoiled islands, and a championship 18-hole golf course. As part of the Accor family, you will contribute to defining the pre-opening operations of two iconic luxury properties, setting new benchmarks in sustainable hospitality and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Policy Development: Design and implement robust credit policies and procedures to safeguard the resort’s financial health while fostering positive client relationships.
• Credit Assessment & Risk Management: Evaluate credit applications for corporate clients and travel agencies, utilizing advanced financial analysis techniques to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risks.
• Accounts Receivable Oversight: Lead the management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and optimizing cash flow through strategic debt recovery processes.
• Collaborative Credit Strategies: Partner with sales and finance teams to establish tailored credit limits and terms, aligning with business objectives and market conditions.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track credit portfolio performance, identify emerging trends, and present actionable insights to senior management through comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
• Dispute Resolution & Negotiation: Proactively negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes with delinquent accounts, maintaining professionalism and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations, including Saudi Arabian financial laws, to uphold the resort’s reputation and operational integrity.
• System Implementation & Training: Introduce and maintain cutting-edge credit management software systems, while providing mentorship and supervision to the credit department staff to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Industry Engagement: Stay abreast of evolving trends and best practices in credit management, integrating innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement in financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of five years of progressive experience in credit management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or Certified Credit Executive (CCE) are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the field.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and accounting software, alongside expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Experience managing international clientele and a deep understanding of global financial practices, with a keen awareness of Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
• Exceptional analytical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while meeting critical deadlines.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with a talent for team management and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
