Job Overview

The Digital Display System Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of the P4-SAKITS Display/Debriefing Systems. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to support mission-critical operations in alignment with established technical documentation and company standards. The operator will work closely with RSAF personnel and aircrews to facilitate seamless mission execution, debriefing, and system performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• System Operations and Maintenance: Load programs for operation and conduct subsystem tests to verify operational readiness. Operate graphics terminals during live exercises and assist with display and control operations to ensure mission success.
• Data Management: Load pre-mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD) and maintain a control log of DTD issuance and receipt from aircrews. Store mission tapes and maintain a mission event log with detailed entries under specified headings, including date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews during mission replays and debriefing sessions. Document system problems encountered during missions with sufficient detail to facilitate interpretation and follow-up actions. Promptly report any aircraft tracking or functional issues to the P4-SAKITS pod shop for further testing.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: File completed log books into the technical library and ensure they are readily available for on-site RSAF evaluations. Document reasons for partially successful or unsuccessful missions, including system operating status and conditions, for inclusion in monthly status reports. Generate exercise status printouts as required by the RSAF.
• Collaboration and Support: Work as part of a cohesive team to support colleagues in their duties and ensure the successful provision of service to the customer. Assist with P4-SAKITS F-15 operations and maintenance as needed. Support the setup of project equipment and comply with all company policies, including quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Adaptability and Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by the Site Supervisor, including tasks that may be reasonably required to support mission objectives and operational excellence.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Language Proficiency: Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Technical Expertise: Previous experience in a similar operational or technical role, with a strong understanding of system operations and maintenance principles.
• Education and Qualifications: College qualification in a technical field or equivalent technical education and military experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Computer Engineering, or related fields is desirable.
• Certifications: A Saudi-Government-recognized Certificate of Arabic/English Bilingual Proficiency (e.g., STEP, TOEFL) is a plus.
