Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and project coordination for a large-scale infrastructure project. Your duties will include:

• Technical Oversight: Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design packages for pipelines, pump stations, valves, and storage facilities to ensure compliance with project requirements and local standards. Identify discrepancies and propose solutions to maintain project integrity.
• Project Coordination: Serve as a central liaison between client representatives, contractors, sub-consultants, and internal engineering teams. Facilitate clear and consistent communication to align all stakeholders and ensure project objectives are met.
• Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, verify adherence to approved designs and safety protocols, and address technical challenges in real time. Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
• Schedule & Progress Tracking: Monitor project timelines, track contractor milestones, and proactively identify potential delays. Collaborate with the project team to implement corrective actions and keep the project on schedule.
• RFIs and Submittals Management: Oversee the review and expedited processing of Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and shop drawings. Ensure timely approvals to prevent disruptions in construction activities.
• Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports, technical memos, and presentations for Parsons leadership and the client. Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water infrastructure preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies. Familiarity with industry software and tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities. The capacity to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment is essential.
