Shift Charge Engineer - RO Plant

The Shift Charge Engineer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant during their assigned shift. This role ensures the plant runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring all operations adhere to safety rules and regulations, with a strong focus on minimizing risks to personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Familiarizing oneself with plant O&M agreements, P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, operation and control logics, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the plant and compliance with safety standards.
• Following preset operational schedules to meet targeted production availability safely and efficiently.
• Making quick decisions to correct abnormalities or disturbances and taking corrective actions during emergencies.
• Supervising startup checklists, interlock checks, protection tests, and non-routine activities.
• Issuing work permits for maintenance sections upon authorization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in RO plant operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. They will also possess strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various departments.
