Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in the structural design, development, and analysis of complex buildings and infrastructure components for large-scale giga-projects that are transforming the region. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of these transformative initiatives, while providing vital guidance to our multidisciplinary engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Lead the structural design, development, and modification of intricate concrete and steel structures using advanced structural analysis and design software, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Technical Review and Validation: Conduct thorough reviews of structural design submittals, contractor shop drawings, technical specifications, and calculations to verify alignment with project guidelines, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Constructability and Value Engineering: Perform detailed technical reviews to assess project constructability, explore value engineering opportunities, and evaluate component maintainability, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Site Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conduct routine site observations and field inspections to validate construction compliance with approved design drawings, method statements, and stringent quality control procedures, mitigating risks and ensuring project integrity.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide clear technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers, designers, and CAD/BIM modelers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate extensively with cross-functional discipline leads, including Architecture, MEP, Geotechnical, and Infrastructure teams, to resolve complex design interfaces, align project milestones, and deliver cohesive solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering and design, with a proven track record on large-scale infrastructure projects, high-rise structures, or complex multi-use master-planned developments. Experience in the Middle East is highly advantageous.

Desired:

• Technical Proficiency: High-level expertise in industry-standard structural analysis software, including STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE, as well as a strong working knowledge of CAD/BIM integration tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of international structural building codes, such as AISC, ACI, and Eurocodes, with familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare detailed engineering reports and present technical solutions clearly and effectively to clients and senior management.
