About the Role

Fairmont The Red Sea, a flagship property within the visionary Red Sea Project, invites a meticulous and proactive Storekeeper to join our elite team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. As an integral member of our operations division, you will oversee the efficient management of our storeroom, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and supplies that uphold the unparalleled standards of luxury and sustainability synonymous with our brand. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our ultra-luxury resort, where precision, organization, and proactive problem-solving are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming goods and supplies, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders. Maintain detailed records of stock movements, ensuring alignment with inventory management systems and manual documentation.
• Storage Operations: Organize and maintain storage areas in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring proper categorization, accessibility, and adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Stock Control & Reconciliation: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on inventory status, stock movements, and any issues requiring management attention.
• Department Coordination: Collaborate closely with department heads and staff to fulfill requisition requests promptly and professionally, ensuring operational continuity across the resort.
• Compliance & Safety: Implement and enforce proper storage procedures to prevent damage, deterioration, and loss of materials while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departments to resolve inventory-related issues efficiently and maintain strong working relationships.
• Pre-Opening & Project Support: During the pre-opening phase, assist in project coordination, scheduling, and document control, contributing to the meticulous planning required for a flawless launch.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven track record in storeroom, warehouse, or inventory management operations, with a strong preference for candidates with hospitality industry experience or luxury resort operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Competency in inventory management systems and computer applications, coupled with exceptional record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to counting, categorizing, and tracking inventory items, ensuring zero tolerance for discrepancies.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies and materials regularly, with familiarity in operating forklifts or material handling equipment being a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in storage environments, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety.
• Luxury Standards: A keen understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment, reflected in impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
