Position Overview

Fairmont The Red Sea, an integral component of the groundbreaking Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia, invites a meticulous and proactive Accounts Receivable professional to join our esteemed finance team in Umluj. As part of this dynamic role, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounts receivable operations, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments while fostering strong, professional relationships with our distinguished clientele. Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, including the generation of invoices, processing of payments, and reconciliation of accounts to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
  • Payment Collection & Delinquency Management: Monitor outstanding invoices and implement strategic collection initiatives to minimize overdue accounts, ensuring optimal cash flow for the organization.
  • Cash Application & Reconciliation: Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain detailed accounts receivable reports, aging schedules, and financial analyses for senior management, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Discrepancy Resolution & Customer Service: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries with professionalism, efficiency, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure the accuracy of customer account information, billing processes, and adherence to company policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain strict compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations, tax requirements, and company accounting policies, while upholding the brand’s commitment to luxury and sustainability.
  • System & Process Optimization: Utilize advanced accounting software and ERP systems to record transactions, generate financial reports, and streamline accounts receivable processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Month-End & Year-End Support: Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong, professional relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and enhance their overall experience with Fairmont The Red Sea.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Experience: Proven track record in accounts receivable management, collections, or related accounting functions, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of invoicing, billing processes, cash application procedures, and financial data analysis, with a preference for candidates with hospitality or hotel industry experience.

  • Organizational & Time Management: Outstanding organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian tax regulations, financial compliance requirements, and credit management best practices is highly desirable.
  • Luxury Standards & Pre-Opening Experience: A deep understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment, with prior experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening phases. Pre-opening experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Personal Attributes: A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with the luxury standards of Fairmont The Red Sea.
