Key Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of engineering systems and infrastructure to support Almarai’s operational excellence. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop talent through coaching, performance evaluations, and targeted training initiatives.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget constraints, and regulatory compliance. Utilize project management methodologies to streamline workflows and mitigate risks.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on engineering best practices, technological advancements, and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability across facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Prior experience in the food and beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, CAD software, ERP systems, and maintenance management tools. Familiarity with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage conflicts, and drive performance through clear communication and strategic planning.
