IT Manager – Salamat Medical Group

Salamat Medical Group, a leading provider of healthcare services in Hail, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager to lead our Information Technology department. Key Responsibilities

The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning technology with the strategic goals of Salamat Medical Group. The primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the organization’s objectives, including digital transformation, cybersecurity, and system integration.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing IT team by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor staff and ensure professional development opportunities.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect patient data and comply with local and international regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR where applicable.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external vendors, healthcare partners, and internal stakeholders to source, implement, and manage IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Project Management: Lead and execute IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations, while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and alignment with organizational financial goals.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare or medical services sector.
• Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including EHR (Electronic Health Records), HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
