We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Course Greenskeeper to join our elite maintenance team, ensuring our world-class golf courses maintain their pristine condition and deliver an unparalleled experience for players.

Key Responsibilities

The Greenskeeper plays a pivotal role in upholding the aesthetic and functional standards of our golf courses. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of hands-on turf management, equipment operation, and course upkeep to guarantee optimal playing conditions. Your contributions will directly enhance the golfer’s experience while supporting our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

• Precision Turf Care: Operate a variety of specialized machinery, including walk-behind and ride-on mowers, to meticulously maintain greens, fairways, tees, aprons, and rough areas. Your work will ensure the turf meets the highest standards of uniformity, density, and playability.
• Course Setup & Maintenance:
  • Relocate hole positions on greens to manage turf wear and optimize playing challenges.
  • Adjust tee markers to distribute play evenly across the course.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replenish ball washers to uphold cleanliness and convenience for golfers.
• Bunker & Hazard Management:
  • Rake sand bunkers—both manually and with mechanical equipment—to ensure smooth, level surfaces free of debris.
  • Trim bunker edges and clear obstructions to maintain visual appeal and playability.
• Landscape Enhancement:
  • Prune hedges, remove morning dew or fallen foliage, and plant seasonal flowers to enhance the course’s aesthetic appeal.
  • Identify and address weed growth or brush encroachment to preserve the integrity of the landscape.
• Irrigation & Turf Health:
  • Monitor soil moisture levels and perform hand-watering to address dry patches, ensuring optimal turf health.
  • Assist in identifying and reporting irrigation system malfunctions or leaks for timely repairs.
• Turf Renovation & Repairs:
  • Lay sod, spread seed, and aerate soil to restore damaged or worn areas of the course.
  • Repair divots, ball marks, and other surface imperfections to maintain a flawless playing surface.
• Equipment Stewardship: Conduct routine cleaning, safety inspections, and basic maintenance on turf machinery and tools to ensure operational efficiency and longevity.

Qualifications & Skills

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are eager to develop their skills in turf management and course maintenance. While prior experience in landscaping, farming, or groundskeeping is advantageous, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with the expertise needed to excel in this role. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• A valid driver’s license to operate utility vehicles and golf carts across the property.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts (typically starting at 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM) and participate in mandatory rotating weekend shifts to accommodate course maintenance schedules.
• Exceptional physical stamina, capable of performing demanding manual labor, lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg), and enduring extended periods of walking or standing in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, or cold.
• Proficiency in safely operating utility vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and motorized lawn equipment.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of course presentation and playability.
