Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Owner/Writer to join our team at Network. Lead. Exchange. UAE, based in Maqna. This full-time, on-site position is designed for an individual who thrives at the intersection of leadership, storytelling, and strategic communication. The Owner/Writer will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the narrative identity of our organization, ensuring that every piece of content reflects our mission, values, and commitment to fostering meaningful connections within the entrepreneurial and professional community. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a passion for crafting compelling content and leading by example in a collaborative, growth-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and implement a robust content strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives, including articles, member success stories, event recaps, and promotional materials. Ensure all content is engaging, informative, and tailored to resonate with professional and entrepreneurial audiences.
• Brand Voice & Consistency: Establish and maintain a cohesive brand voice across all communication channels, ensuring that messaging is professional, authentic, and aligned with the organization’s core values. Oversee the editorial direction of all written materials to uphold high standards of quality and relevance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with members, partners, and stakeholders to gather insights, conduct interviews, and capture compelling narratives that highlight the impact and achievements of the community. Build and nurture relationships to foster trust and engagement.
• Event & Communication Oversight: Contribute to the planning and execution of networking events, workshops, and community initiatives. Develop communication materials to promote these events and ensure seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Community Leadership: Actively participate in meetings, networking events, and community activities to stay deeply connected with the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm, serving as a thought leader and advocate for the community’s growth.
• Editorial Excellence: Provide meticulous editing and proofreading to ensure all content is polished, error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines. Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms and publications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating high-impact content for professional or entrepreneurial audiences, along with the ability to lead communication initiatives with confidence and clarity. The following qualifications are essential:

• Professional Writing Experience: Demonstrated expertise in crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive content, including articles, reports, and promotional materials tailored to business and entrepreneurial audiences.
• Strategic Communication: A strong aptitude for developing and executing content strategies that support branding, networking, and community engagement goals. Experience in aligning content with organizational objectives is highly valued.
• Editorial Precision: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
• Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships, facilitate collaboration, and engage with entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders effectively.
• Organizational Agility: Exceptional time-management and multitasking skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• On-Site Commitment: Willingness and ability to work on-site in Maqna, including regular participation in networking events, meetings, and member interactions to stay closely connected to the community.
• Educational & Professional Background: A relevant degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in content creation, community management, or business networking will be considered.
• Community & Networking Experience: Prior experience in business networking, community-building, or managing professional groups is a significant advantage, as it demonstrates a deep understanding of the ecosystem and its needs.
