Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Front-End Developer at PulseMedia, you will play a key role in crafting responsive, user-centric websites and digital assets tailored for healthcare and wellness brands. Your responsibilities will include transforming UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code, ensuring seamless performance across all devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support SEO initiatives, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance-driven enhancements, all while adhering to industry best practices for usability, accessibility, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain responsive websites and landing pages, ensuring they meet the highest standards of design and functionality.
• Collaboration: Partner with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver cohesive, high-quality digital solutions that align with client objectives.
• Performance & Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring flawless performance on all devices.
• CMS & Website Management: Maintain and update WordPress websites and other CMS platforms, implementing content updates, layouts, and reusable templates to support ongoing improvements.
• Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve front-end bugs, conduct thorough testing across browsers and devices, and uphold rigorous coding standards across all projects.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, actively participating in code reviews and skill development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented candidate with a passion for front-end development and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will possess:

Experience

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance projects, or junior roles.
• Hands-on experience building or contributing to live websites or web applications.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first development methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Understanding of SEO-friendly front-end development practices.

Tools & Soft Skills

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Basic knowledge of website performance optimization and cross-browser testing.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
