Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OBGYNE Consultant to join our esteemed healthcare team at Fakeeh Care. In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring adherence to evidence-based medical practices, regulatory standards, and organizational policies. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and maintaining meticulous medical documentation. Key Responsibilities

The OBGYNE Consultant will perform a wide range of clinical and administrative duties, including:

• Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments of patients, documenting findings in medical records. Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in compliance with Fakeeh Care standards, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
• Inpatient Management: Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under your care. Perform daily assessments, document progress using the SOAP format, and coordinate discharge planning from the day of admission, involving relevant services as needed.
• Medical Consultations and Interventions: Respond promptly to medical consultations and document all interventions performed on patients in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure strict adherence to Fakeeh Care’s documentation standards for medical records.
• Discharge and Follow-Up: Complete and authenticate discharge summaries for all inpatients under your care. Provide patients with clear discharge instructions, education on take-home medications, and follow-up guidance prior to discharge.
• Facility and Departmental Engagement: Attend to duties at Fakeeh Health Care facilities and respond to calls as per the departmental schedule. Participate actively in staff meetings, contributing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
• Medical Reporting and Education: Prepare medical reports for patients in accordance with Fakeeh Care’s prescribed formats. Contribute to teaching rounds and educational activities as requested by the department chairperson. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term well-being.
• Administrative and Compliance Duties: Write medical reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with Fakeeh Care’s policies and procedures. Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and comply with cybersecurity policies to safeguard organizational systems.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education and Experience: Completion of structured training in obstetrics and gynecology or a subspecialty, along with the highest clinical degree in the field from a recognized medical center. Must possess relevant clinical experience in recognized medical centers, as mandated by the regional health regulatory authority.
• Licensure and Certification: Valid license to practice as per the regional health regulatory authority (e.g., SCFHS, DHA, or equivalent).
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both oral and written English and Arabic to facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Technical and Soft Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in high-stress environments. Exceptional communication skills are essential for collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and non-medical staff.
