Key Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist Physician will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients within their designated specialty. The core responsibilities include:

• Patient Care and Treatment: Deliver comprehensive medical care in alignment with granted privileges, Fakeeh Care policies, and established clinical standards. Ensure all patient interactions are documented meticulously in accordance with Fakeeh Care’s documentation protocols.
• Patient Education and Communication: Provide clear and compassionate education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Collaborate closely with attending physicians to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care for in-patients.
• Medical Procedures: Perform or assist in medical and surgical procedures as permitted by granted privileges, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical best practices.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate and deliver medical reports to patients in a timely and professional manner, adhering to Fakeeh Care’s standardized formats and timelines.
• Professional Development and Training: Actively participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and training programs. Contribute to the mentorship and professional growth of junior medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Policy Adherence and Improvement: Develop a deep understanding of Fakeeh Care’s policies and procedures, ensuring their effective implementation. Contribute to process improvements and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold stringent safety protocols, address any job-related safety concerns proactively, and maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive patient and organizational information. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies to safeguard Fakeeh Care’s systems and data.
• Ethical and Professional Standards: Adhere to Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Complete mandatory education and training programs as scheduled to maintain compliance and professional competence.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Hold a Saudi Specialty Certificate or an equivalent credential in health sciences from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in the relevant medical specialty is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 0 to 3 years of post-specialty training or practice in recognized hospitals or health centers, ensuring a solid foundation in clinical decision-making and patient management.
• Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid regional health regulatory license (e.g., SCFHS, DHA, or equivalent), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced certifications relevant to the specialty are highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent command of both oral and written English. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred to facilitate effective communication with diverse patient populations.
