Role Overview
The Hotel Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our hotel group by strategically expanding room bookings and event sales across our properties. This full-time, on-site position is based in Tabuk or Umluj and requires a proactive approach to identifying new business prospects, cultivating strong relationships with existing clients, and managing key accounts. Your daily responsibilities will encompass prospecting and engaging with corporate and leisure clients, crafting compelling proposals and contracts, and ensuring seamless coordination with front office and reservations teams. Accurate sales reporting and forecasting will be essential to track performance and guide strategic decisions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns, represent our hotels at local industry events and trade shows, and stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities. Regular communication with senior management will be required to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline development, and growth strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong interpersonal and organizational skills to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in both corporate and leisure segments.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Develop and present tailored proposals and contracts to clients, negotiating terms that align with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with front office, reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales agreements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
- Partner with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
- Represent the hotels at local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen industry connections.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic sales decisions.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, pipeline progress, and growth strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of strong communication, customer service, and sales expertise. Proficiency in Arabic and English is essential, and fluency in additional languages is a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record in customer service, with a focus on building and sustaining long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated sales and sales management experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Hands-on experience in marketing activities, such as designing and executing promotional campaigns.
- Prior experience in hotel sales or hospitality is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
- Residency in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
