Position Overview
We are partnering with a globally recognized pharmaceutical leader to recruit a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join their dynamic team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and compliant management of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods within a state-of-the-art warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in maintaining operational excellence, adhering to stringent Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and supporting seamless supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in strict accordance with GMP procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper handling of both ambient and temperature-controlled products to maintain optimal storage conditions.
- Material Issuance & Distribution: Facilitate the timely and accurate issuance of materials to Production and Packaging departments, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, transfers, and issuances, in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Inventory Control: Perform inventory transactions, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and annual inventory activities, using SAP or the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine inspections to verify the condition and compliance of stored materials, promptly addressing any discrepancies or quality concerns in alignment with company protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a closely related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 2–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or food manufacturing sectors, with a strong understanding of GMP/GDP guidelines and warehouse best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using inventory management systems, such as SAP or ERP platforms, to track stock levels and generate reports.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Control, and Logistics.
- Willingness to participate in face-to-face interviews in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, as part of the selection process.
