F&B Service Expert

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated F&B Service Expert to join our dynamic team at Marriott International, Inc. in the sacred city of Mecca. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service experiences to our esteemed guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort remain our top priorities. Key Responsibilities

• Guest-Centric Service Delivery: Provide outstanding in-room dining, restaurant, and bar services, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain a high level of service quality across all F&B outlets.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure seamless operations, including order accuracy, timely delivery, and adherence to Marriott’s global standards. Assist in inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Lead by example to inspire a high-performance culture within the department.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and emergency protocols. Uphold Marriott’s commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
• Guest Feedback Management: Proactively address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and efficiency. Utilize feedback to drive service enhancements and maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and concierge teams to coordinate services and deliver a cohesive guest experience. Participate in daily briefings and operational meetings to align with hotel objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably within a luxury or international hotel environment. A degree or certification in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of F&B service protocols, POS systems, and reservation software. Familiarity with multiple languages, including Arabic and English, is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to service delivery.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 kg, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certifications: Valid food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is required. Additional certifications in hospitality management or service excellence are a plus.
