Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy audit software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and methodologies. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Audit Process Integration: Collaborate with audit teams to understand their requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. Develop tools that automate audit workflows, improve data accuracy, and streamline reporting processes.
• System Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing audit software systems to ensure peak performance. Implement updates and enhancements to meet evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing to identify and resolve bugs, vulnerabilities, or performance bottlenecks. Ensure software reliability, security, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and audit professionals, to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions. Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress effectively.
• Innovation & Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance audit capabilities and business value.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in audit, compliance, or cybersecurity are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and audit-specific tools is highly desirable.
• Audit Knowledge: Familiarity with audit principles, regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOX, GDPR), and risk management methodologies. Prior experience in audit software development is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
