Key Responsibilities

As a Regional QSHE Coordinator (Sales), you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities to uphold and enhance our QSHE performance. Your core duties will include:

• QSHE Policy Implementation: Develop, communicate, and enforce QSHE policies, procedures, and standards across all sales regions, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales operations, proposing and implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimize workplace incidents and environmental impact.
• Training & Awareness: Design and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams, fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring all employees are well-versed in best practices and emergency protocols.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management and regulatory bodies to demonstrate compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Incident Investigation & Corrective Actions: Lead investigations into QSHE-related incidents, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and operations, to integrate QSHE considerations into business processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving QSHE regulations and industry standards, ensuring Almarai remains compliant and ahead of legal requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in QSHE coordination, preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, or sales sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management) standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
