Lead MEP Site Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Site Engineer to oversee and execute critical construction, engineering, and commissioning activities at client sites. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, from site mobilization and civil works to installation, assembly, and commissioning. The Lead MEP Site Engineer will operate with a high degree of autonomy while adhering to established functional practices and procedures. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless project execution within defined parameters and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead MEP Site Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of site-related activities, including:

• Construction and Engineering Oversight: Leading the planning, execution, and supervision of civil works, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, as well as assembly and commissioning activities.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Directly supervising installation and construction operations, managing subcontractors with specialized technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving: Developing a deep understanding of MEP disciplines, leveraging prior experience to implement policies and strategies, and proposing innovative solutions within defined frameworks to address challenges.
• Operational Integration: Demonstrating a comprehensive grasp of operational factors and how the team’s work integrates with broader organizational objectives, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
• Decision-Making and Guidance: Utilizing analytical skills and technical knowledge to resolve issues, making informed decisions by consulting multiple internal sources, and providing informal mentorship to new team members.
• Project Coordination: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, identifying potential problems proactively, and implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Core Qualifications:

• Education: For roles outside the United States, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) in a relevant field is required. For roles based in the United States, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is mandatory, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Technical Experience: Significant hands-on experience in MEP site engineering, including construction, installation, and commissioning activities. Familiarity with digital audio workstation (DAW) systems is advantageous for roles outside the U.S.
