Your Role and Responsibilities

As an IT Administrator at Almarai, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, resilience, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure across your assigned region. Your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities designed to support internal users and business operations:

• Maintain and Enhance IT Infrastructure: Keep existing hardware, communication systems, and software components operational and up-to-date to meet evolving business needs. This includes performing regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Deploy New IT Solutions: Identify opportunities to expand IT capabilities and implement new systems or facilities where required. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s ability to scale and adapt to changing demands.
• Issue Resolution and Support: Act as the first point of contact for user-reported IT issues. Diagnose problems, implement fixes, and ensure timely resolution to maintain smooth operations across all locations in your region.
• Server Management: Install, configure, and manage servers as part of ongoing infrastructure upkeep. This includes ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability to support critical business functions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across a broad spectrum of daily tasks, engaging with teams from diverse professional backgrounds. Your ability to collaborate effectively will be key to delivering cohesive IT solutions that align with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 2–5 years of relevant IT experience, with direct exposure to Oracle environments and client/server-based applications. Experience in a corporate or enterprise setting is highly desirable.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams with diverse professional backgrounds. You should thrive in a collaborative environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills to foster productive working relationships.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: A self-starting attitude with the capacity to manage a high volume of tasks under pressure while maintaining composure and focus. Your methodical and tactful approach will be complemented by sound business judgment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and hands-on experience with the software tools used across Almarai’s environment. Working knowledge of Business Objects or a comparable reporting tool is essential, along with a solid grasp of standard IT concepts and practices.
