In this **Solar Project Engineer** role, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of solar PV projects—from conceptualization to commissioning—ensuring seamless execution while adhering to industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and managerial duties, including but not limited to:

• Project Design and Engineering: Lead the design and engineering of solar rooftop, ground-mounted, and carport projects, including equipment selection, layout planning, schematic development, technical sizing, and preparation of detailed Bills of Quantity (BoQ) and Capital Expenditure (Capex) estimates.
• Site Assessment and Feasibility: Conduct thorough site visits to evaluate feasibility, assess solar potential, and align project designs with customer requirements and local regulations.
• Technical Coordination: Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to technical specifications. Prepare and manage submittals, approvals, and compliance documentation.
• Project Supervision and Execution: Oversee the detailed design, permitting, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects. Provide hands-on supervision to contractors and ensure day-to-day activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-leading tools such as PVSyst and Helioscope to model, analyze, and optimize solar project performance. Conduct essential tests and evaluations at every stage of project execution to ensure technical excellence.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project status reports, documenting progress, challenges, and milestones for stakeholders. Ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in engineering principles, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset. We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering or a related field. Certifications in solar energy or renewable technologies are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of solar equipment, industry standards, and technical matters. Familiarity with solar PV system design, grid integration, and energy yield analysis.
• Software Skills: Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in specialized solar design software such as PVSyst and Helioscope.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery in renewable energy.
